We are an adventurous team of bakers, creators and connectors, focused on celebrating life’s simple pleasures and building community through shared experience. Our granola is available in local markets and specialty stores in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as online. We are committed to investing in the communities we touch through hiring practices, product donations and direct financial contributions.
A little history…
What does one do during a Pandemic when they are self-employed and have no work?? Bake granola, of course!
When the lock down began and I was faced with weeks of little to no work (I am a full-time freelance sign language interpreter), I had to do SOMETHING!!! With 4 tween children home full-time as well as my wife working remotely, I needed to feel that I was doing something, even if it was small, to bring them happiness during this difficult time. So, I started experimenting with different granola recipes (pretty much the whole fam likes granola). The batches would barely have time to cool before it was gobbled up. Soon, I was passing out my granola concoctions to friends who started saying things like, “Hey, you know, you should start selling this!” and “I’m going to stop buying it from the store and buy yours instead, it is so much better!”.
And the rest is history! So, you see, even in the face of our darkest days, if you choose to focus on the simple things, the smallest flickers of joy, the moments that could have easily been overlooked, something new and amazing can emerge.
